Someone or a group is the problem you face: you must take responsibility. You must discard that thinking. Be a master of your destiny.

You can fast and pray your way to prosperity: unless you are in the religious line discard that. Prayer is good and so is fasting. What they bring is discipline and grace. You need to define your own prosperity and work at it. Work hard at it.

The grass is greener on the other side: the grass also has weevils, dirt and manure under it. You do not see that. The grass is green on your side. Get manure, trim and water your garden and it will turn green.

There are shortcut: there really is none. Shortcuts are illusions. Do not be fooled. Stay on the path of diligence and you will get there.

You must know someone to make it: that is an ideology often repeated and bought by many. You need not know anyone. Successful people place relationship building as an art. So they cultivate those that are in their value chain and not wait to know. So get a Rolodex. Map out key contacts and then go for it.

Your Pastor or Imam or Babalawo has the answers: they do not. They know little. And it’s not their job to give you answers. Do not confuse matters of the spirit with matters of the flesh. The world has it’s set of rules. Don’t be exploited. Protect your heart from doctrines that give you temporary lifts but in reality give nothing to you.

What will be will be: buy insurance. Insure your assets, insure your health. Hedge your bets. You will be surprised how much say you have in steering your ship if you want to.

Kenneth Cole Dubem Nwume God gave us 2 ears and 1 mouth, talk less: Follow your curiosity – even if it’s in something that people don’t care about. This helps reprogram your brain to ask plenty of questions.

Afolabi Temitope God has nothing new to do! Everything he does is new and needs no renewal… So plug into His abundance and do your part.
