Reverend Chris Okotie has expressed his resolve not to contract any marriage with women again.
This news according to our sources comes as a reaction to speculations from different quarters in relation to suggestions or possibilities that the Reverend-turned Politician and General Overseer of the Household of God Church – Reverend Christ Okotie may soon remarry.
Further inquiries revealed that these speculations were ruled out in a statement believed to be issued by his media aide, Mr. Ladi Ayodeji, ruling out such possibility.
It would be recalled that Reverend Chris Okoties’s second marriage ended in controversy, and since then, many people have been gearing up to hear of a new date or sights of wedding bells.
In June 2012, the Nigerians woke up with the controversial news about the separation and dissolution of marriage between Reverend Chris Okotie and His second wife [Stephanie Henshaw]. According to him:
“Stephanie and I are no longer married. We have separated. You can see she’s not in church today. It’s due to irreconcilable differences and you should please respect our wishes at this time”, stressing that, “because there is no going back.”
Sources quoted Mr. Ladi Ayodeji in a Statement as saying that:
“Speculations about his [Reverend Chris Okotie] future marriage which have been the subject of media controversy since his separation from his former wife, Stephanie Henshaw last year”.
In a bid to quash further hopes of Public expectation of a New “Mummy of the House”, Ayodeji went further to state that:
“His [Reverend Chris Okotie] decision not to remarry is final and irrevocable, having already settled the matter with the Lord Jesus Christ.”
We hope that Jesus really showed him the ways to avoid temptation, and We at VisionHub.org wish to plead with ALL the Fine fine Girls and Mamas out there to please help this man not to fail Jesus Christ.
But (speaking in pigeon English now) Come to think of it, if Reverend Chris Okotie leave such a beauty, na you go come make am enter temptation?
The rest is up to you to think and …..
