On the Continuation of our Series on “Let’s Talk Relationship: Can Christian Be In A Relationship?” we present to you – Let’s Talk Relationship 2 – The Underpinning Consequences Of Relationships.
Seasons greeting to all who are reading this! Also, many appreciations for all the feedback, evaluations and contradicting opinions that came in from the readers of the last article; I must say though, I was really encouraged but at some point was a bit disappointed on how uninformed people could be when considering the issues of the HEART.
HOSEA 4:6a “my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge…”
So in this article, I would try to tackle few important contradictions that were raised but before I start could I just bring your humble attention to the fact that everything written by the author, every idea and thoughts, are of the author’s personal opinion and if you find it offensive or if it affects your reputation in anyway: Do have mercy! I am not out to kill anyone’s confidence or anything, just stating facts that would best be applied for a better living.
One of the major conflicting views that were raised on the previous article was the fact that there was an age-limit in regards to who is legible to be in a relationship and who is not. So some of the readers say that it doesn’t matter if you are under 18 or not, relationship is for everyone. Sure, why not!
So when your 11 year old junior sister walks up to you and says she is in a relationship with some 12 year old guy or probably her age-mate, tap her back in approval and say ‘well-done baby, prove to the world that relationship is for everyone and everyone should be in a relationship regardless of age’.
Could it be that people don’t understand the underpinning consequences of relationships?
If you are not matured enough to handle different situations that require to a great extent someone’s personal attention, there is the possibility of lose of focus in life.
Relationship requires much attention and if you still doubt me, ask those who are in it, watch movies and see how people’s daily life could be disrupted all in the name of relationships.
Ever heard of the word ‘heart break’, have you seen someone that broke up with his/her partner and still feels normal? Even if it was a mutual break up, there is still some element of distorted focus found in the person as at that time.
