“He is not limited by the natural; He has supernatural power. When you consider God instead of your circumstances, amazing things can happen.” – Joel Osteen
I just came across this inspiring story of a Little Girl and her father as they prepare to make a journey across a swift flowing river.
“One day, a father and her precious little Girl were crossing a long narrow bridge. The father being very kind and cautious, ask his little Angel: – “Sweetheart, could you please hold my hands so that you won’t fall into the river.”
The little Angel looked at her father and said with a smile: “No, Dad. Could you please hold my hand instead?”
Her father looked puzzled and asked her: “Sweetie, What’s the difference?”.
She replied with the clearest voice, while looking into her father’s face: “Daddy, There’s a big difference!”.
The father was surprised, but eager to hear her own logic, and urged her to continue:
“If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let go off your hand. But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you would never let my hand go.”
Like the quote from Joel Osteen clearly states, once we let God into our circumstances, amazing things will surely happen. This little girl let the trust and faith she has in her father into her circumstances and believed that no matter what may befall them, her father would never let go off her hands. This is total trust in human (which happens to be her father).
She conquered the fear of the unknown, and exhibited the mind and attitude of what Jesus has always preached to us through His works and the Bible. – Have faith in God.
It is my Prayer that as you go about the affairs of life, no matter the length of the bridge or how narrow it may look, no matter how fierce the wind is that is trying to sweep off your legs from the ground, no matter how strong the feelings that you may fall off the bridges of life, as far as you will remember to call out to God through His Son Jesus Christ and allow Him to hold your hands, you will surely make it!
The ball is now in your court to either call out to Jesus to let Him hold your hands, or stay at a play and continue to cry without action.
The time has come for you to make a conscious decision on whom to hold your hands as you go through life. You cannot do this without having a conscious relationship with God through Jesus Christ. I will urge you to call on to Jesus the Author and finisher of our faith and get to know Him better.
Honestly, Amazing things happen when you let God step into your situation.
Stay Blessed and have a great day.
If this blessed you and added value to your day, why don’t you share it and let your friends and even enemies’ benefit from it to. You never know, it could be the kick they need to find the Hands of Jesus to hold.
