The Church today has almost turned many into practicing demonism and Zombies, people who are blinded by the mis-teachings of prosperity and giving. People who are drawn by the acts of miracles and works of miracles by self-styled pastors, prophets and pastresses; People who are gradually going off and forgetting the reasons that Jesus Christ came to the World and died for our Sins.
The morning as I woke up, I listened to a telecast of Billy Graham’s crusade sermon in New York in 1991. He spoke for almost one hour of salvation of souls, how to make heaven, signs of the end time, how to resist the devil and how to ensure that your name is written in the book of life.
For an entire hour, he did not mention money, did not solicit for money, did not prophesy that millionaires will emerge from the crowd at the end of the week, he never threatened the attendees with the wrath of God if they did not part with their money in the form of seed sowing, he did not ask fire to consume his enemies, no. He proclaimed. Christ, his love and the need to worship Him in spirit and in truth.
Your Church And You
- Today, which church did you attend?
- Was the salvation of Christ the main focus?
- Was sin condemned fiercely in your church?
- Did they ask you to confess your sin and ask God for forgiveness and dedicate your life to His service?
If these basic principles of Christianity were not preached in your church today, then you attended the wrong church. Flee from that church and look for a church where salvation of the soul is preached.
Jesus Christ came t the World to save souls and not to enslave them into thinking that Money, riches and earthly wealth is more important than their souls..
May God grant you wisdom to hear, understand and learn.
