Are there really foreign Doctrines in Christianity? Is the Church more relax than the World that they are turning blind eye to every addition that is smuggled into the fold? What exactly are these doctrines and why are they allowed to go on in the Church of Christ?
Many foreign Doctrines have been sneaked into Christianity and because it’s been a practice of over many years; it has become a norm and the danger of it is that it would still be passed on to other generation and they run with it without asking questions.
- Things Like Tithing has been normalised and justified just to suit each denomination.
- Speaking in Tongues has also been used as a validating tool for being born again.
- Do you remember the “Give birth like a Hebrew woman”? That was a lie too.
- Tapping the “man of god’s Anointing” with money.
People have been taught that they can just speak whatever that comes into their minds. It is no more the Holy Spirit that initiates it, it’s now “Speak as You Go“.
These foreign Doctrines has gradually been normalised in Churches and; no one dare asks why; or question it’s connection with what happened in Acts of the Apostle when the Holy Spirit came upon the Apostles. (Acts 1:1-10)
Foreign Doctrines: Taping Preacher’s anointing
Lately, “Taping the anointing of the Man of god” with money became a norm. Many “invited fundraisers” no longer do Altar Calls, what they specialise in is Sales and raising funds in Churches.
We have remained mute because no one wants to be cursed by; or being seen as challenging the Authorities in Churches.
Many Elders have been made redundant in their core duties in Churches, which is mainly to keep the Pastors in check, etc. No one wants to be seen as a rebel.
Foreign Doctrines: What did Malachi do?
Yet we praise Prophet Malachi for speaking out when he called on the Priests to stop eating their Tithes; and then we turn around to condemn others when they Speak out against Mammon in Churches.
Suffice to say that many people including Priests and Levites came against Prophet Malachi when he told them the truth about Tithes and why they needed to adhere to God’s Commands. This they did because Prophet Malachi was a “Lesser Prophet”.
He was never one of the top National or State recognised Prophets. He was a “ Nobody” in the affairs of things.
I am thinking that many Priests and Levites who had deviated and started fending for themselves must have objected to that call because they were making it bigger than what has been given to them seasonally.
Fast forward to today, many Christians are still justifying why the “lesser prophets” should not discomfort what they have used to “mind-control” many, and stolen from them indirectly.
