The issue of paying Tithe with Money or Produce should not be hidden to Christians. Christianity is of Christ Jesus; who came not to destabilize the work of God but to repair a faulty foundation of the World.

Many People are confused. They are wondering if they should pay their Tithe with Money, or Farm produces. What does the Bible say in this instance? Does the Bible say Tithing must be paid with money or Farm produce? Did the Bible say that there was no Money in the Moses era?

Is it safe to say that; “There is nowhere in the bible that you are required to pay tithe with money.”?

There is NO account or even an example in the Bible; where Paying Tithe with Money was EVER mentioned at all. The only reference to “money” with regards to Tithing found in the Bible has absolutely no correlation to Paying Tithe with Money.

You MUST NOT Pay Tithe with Money

Do you care to know the Truth? Let’s take a look at Deut. 14:24-26.

“24 And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it (Produce); or if the place be too far from thee, which the Lord thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the Lord thy God hath blessed thee:

25 Then shalt thou turn it (Sell your Produce) into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the Lord thy God shall choose:

26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after; for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink; or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the Lord thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,….”

Let me make a correction here: Money as a means of trading was pre-Jesus era.

There was never any Trade-by-batter in the Moses or Malachi era. They had always had money.

Deut 14:25 even went as far as telling us that God instructed the People of Israel to “Sell” the Tithe (Produce) and buy it back when they get to “Where He, the Lord will choose for them to worship Him”.

God did not tell them. To exchange it. They had to sell their produce and buy it back. So the issue of money is not even there at all.

God would have Instructed them to give money in place of Produce, but He knew that the Levites needed the products to survive.
