Every New Year, People make resolutions, people reflect on their old ways and kickstart new ways of doing things.
New Year brings about New perspectives in Lives. New Year helps most people to turn a New Leaf.
As human beings, New Years presents opportunities to finetune our relationships with our maker. We have to find ways to patch up any problems we have with God and there is no other time than when the year is fresh, and all the euphoria of the Year celebrations have not left us yet.
Getting across to God is not that hard. It takes a heart that is ready for repentance and to acknowledge that we have fallen short of the Glory of God (John 3:16); then step up our action to seek the face of God and ask for Forgiveness.
Once we have asked for forgiveness, we must believe that God has answered, and has forgiven us. He is a God of mercy and is always ready to forgive, but all He wants is for you to recognise your shortcomings, and initiate the moves for forgiveness.
Is your New Year a Joke?
A joker once said that “If #Blackberry can hear the #prayers of Android, iPhone and even Nokia 3310 and give them Blackberry Messenger #BBM, #PIN and #PING, God has heard ALL your Prayers.
Just PING #God through Jesus Christ and you will get His PIN!”
Jes, the ears of God is not heavy that He cannot hear you. He is always there for you, All you need to do is to ask anything in the Name of Jesus Christ, and you shall be attended to.
In this month of January and throughout the New year, May your life be positioned to receive God’s PINGs, but you must accept Him first before you can PING Him!!
