He has asked the Parliament for an INTERPRETATION of what is playing out in his marriage. To him, marriage is sacred but trust is most important to him. His marriage to his young wife is giving him some concerns and he would love to get help.
His wife is about 15 years younger than himself. She had just left secondary school at the time he married her (having been married to a white lady before).
The agreement between them was that she would go back to school after she’s had their babies. To the glory of God, they are blessed with 3 kids. Eventually, she went back to the university.
On more than one occasion, stories (from family friends) have filtered to his hearing that his wife is getting unusually cosy with a few young male students. These Young male students are said to be in the same Department with her.
He does not see anything out of the ordinary. If she has to have a rapport with her fellow students in the course of her studies.
Dangers signs in Marriage?
A few months back she implored that their VACANT boys quarters be used to accommodate a few of her fellow (Males) students that were having accommodation problems. This is because their house is very close to the University.
He has asked the parliament to look into the matter and ADVISE him and also tell him if ‘helping’ the so-called male students with accommodation (as his wife pleaded) is proper, in view of the stories that are flying around, concerning his woman’s cosiness with her fellow (male) students.
But at the same time, he does not want to hurt her feelings or allow himself to become unnecessarily suspicious of a woman that has been a good wife to him.
