Inspired by Olufunmilayo Yusuf Odunaike Fasting my problems away.
So I go to Giwa Samosangudu. A renowned prophet. I tell him my problems. He advices I come under the cover of anointing. Together we shall be indulging in a 3 day rolling fast.
I prepare myself a day before. I eat all sorts. I like my food you know. So here goes.
Day 1. We start early by 5am. We climb to the mountain and call down fire against our enemies. I see Odolaye Aremu there too. I heard he has been there for a month. Too many enemies dey house.
9am we stop praying. By that time all I can do is gasp. Alufa says i can go sleep. I slept till 12 noon. We resume prayers again. This time my voice is softer. Energy is low. I can’t scream Jah Jehovah again. I am not sure God needs me to shout for that long.
3pm. We finish. By that time I am hoarse. I can barely speak. Giwa says I should go to river side and look in water to see the cause of my problems.
I stare inside water, Na Lanre Okunola face I see oh . 5pm I go back to Oluso. He said we should read Bible. I open Psalm 90 and eyes not focusing. I can smell food from the verses.
It is now 8pm. Time to sleep. Woli Giwa gives me a dagger. He said I should stab whomever I see in my dreams. My dreams are about Agbaosi Sevezun Gloria packaged meat and the pounded yam I ate in Dr. Okolo Oteri Eme‘s house. I wonder if those are my enemies.
I wake up around 2pm. Hunger pangs is killing me. I see Funke Phillips posting a drink online. My throat is parched. I switch off my phone before temptation destroy my destiny.
I try sleep again. This time Na he goats I dey see. I take dagger to stab he goat. Then I felt pain in my … What the?
4am Woli Giwa says we should pray again. By that time I am hallucinating. As we start the the Hallelujah chant, a vision befalls me. Ah this is how Revelation was written!
