What does “The fruits of the Spirit” mean to you? The whole of last night, I was held up by this insight that just dawned on me. I had to find a way to bring it out to the open.
Many people have talked about, discussed, argued, fought, facebooked, twitted, shared, liked and thumbs-upped this topic many million times, still, most people are either confused or do not really understand what it truly means.
The fruits of the Spirit according to Galatians 5:22-23
The fruits of the Spirit have always been a topic on itself that many preachers and teachers of the Bible have been giving their own interpretation. And many have gotten it right, while many have even deepened the misleading information that has landed many hearts into powerful doubt and misconceptions have risen from such doubts.
It’s an arguable fact, but many have left the body of Christ due to the interpretations that they were handed in concerning the Fruits of the Spirit by their congregational head/tails.
So in order to understand what you really think about the Fruits of the Spirit and relate it to the times we are living now, I am going to ask you just a very simple question:
If at all you are asked to explain the Fruits of the Spirit to your Professional colleagues, how would you go about it?
- If you are a Doctor or a Medical Practitioner and you are called upon to explain this to your colleagues, how will you do so in your Professional Language?
- As an Engineer, how will you talk about the Fruits of the Spirit in an Engineering Language?
- Same for an ICT Professional, how will you go about this?
- What if you are a Web Apps Developer, can you explain how you will go about developing an App for the Fruits of the Spirit?
As a Christian, I would expect you to give some biblical references in all your “Flavours” of the Fruits of the spirits.
There is the spirit of love , joy , peace , long suffering, gentleness, self-control, faithfulness, goodness, kindness.Against such there is no law..Fruits of THE HOLY SPIRIT is a must have in my life, this is one of my daily prayers that THE FRUITS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT make me and mold me I can't serve THE LORD with THE FRUITS not operating in my life(must have)GALATIANS 5:22-23.
Nice one
