Love is a very crazy thing. It can make someone who is very intelligent to begin to behave like a novice. Love can be healthy or very dangerously toxic. A relationship that has its foundation hinged on monetary benefits would always turn sour.
Love can make a man or woman do things they never thought of believed they could ordinarily do. The problem with love is that it can automatically turn sour once an element of it dies or is temporarily removed.
Most of these elements are Money, Financial stability, etc. Many people fall in love just because of the financial incentives they would gain. The story you are about to read is one of such.
How Toxic is your Love?
A man wrote in for an advise: Can women love me irrespective of my Situation?
Please counsel my wife to always love her husband irrespective of the situation at hand. Her love exists as long as the money keeps coming.
She takes our issues to third parties, telling them all that happens in our home. And such people have not been a good influence on our marriage.
The fact that I lost my job as a banker last month and has been trying to move ahead (but had to stay away – by relocating to another state, in search of a new job, while she works in Lagos) is because I don’t want to add to her burdens, while I sort myself out.
I love her with our kids exceedingly. Those she tells our matters to have been planting negative ideas (about my absence) in her head and she falls for such by constantly insulting and accusing me.
I have never received any form of moral support (since I lost my job) from the woman I call my wife and my heart bleeds.
HE HAS ASKED US TO ADDRESS HIS WIFE…SAID HE WILL FORWARD OUR ‘TWO CENTS’ TO HER!
