In Life, there are times when you must speak less, listen more. There are times you need to close your mouth and make use of the best organ God has given you – Your ear.
When you speak less, it does not mean that you have not matured or not a strong person, But because there are many things that maturity gives someone, you have decided to tap into it.
- Speak Less, Listen More.
- Say Less, Do More.
- Take Less, Give More.
- Start Less, Finish More.
- Blame Less, Forgive More.
“Obey them not only to win their favour when their eye is on you, but like slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart. Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free.” – Ephesians 6:6-8.
The above is for any TRUE person who wants to do the will of God and not just be a Lip-service Christian.
The matured speak less.
Be a good person and a good Christian, not because you think it will impress someone, but because you want to help others be a good person. God knows your intentions, even if you can hide them from other people.
Speak less and let your acts speak for you. Let the works of your hands show forth the Mind of Christ that is in you. Speak less and do more.
There is no need for excuses, you must use wisdom in all you do. The Bible says “Be wise as the serpent”! So in your Struggles, may the Wisdom of God guide you. Amen.
Remember that if you speak less and do more, your actions will speak volumes on your behalf.
Don’t speak to impress, speak to invest words, wisdom and understanding into someone. Your words may bring completetion to someone’s life. You cannot achieve this if you don’t learn to Speak Less and listen more.
