What could have made Jesus Christ think of flogging the overpriced Money Changers and Business Owners out of the Temple?

I know that no one believed that quiet and gentle Jesus Christ; could muster up the courage to disrupt a Tradition that has been going on for years; which has now been taken over by Greed and wickedness. Do you know that these Businesses in the Temple were all genuine and Biblically Sound? Well, let’s show you how.

What did Jesus do to the Money Changers?

In John 2:15; it was recorded that Jesus made a whip out of cords and flogged and drove out the Traders and money changers from the Temple.
Also in Matthew 21:12; Jesus was visibly angry on how the House of God has been turned into a house of thieves/robbers and money changers.

Were these people doing legitimate Business in the Temple? Yes, they were.

Remember that it was close to Passover, and as a custom, many people come from different places to the Temple to worship God.

Some who came from a distance came with the money they got from their Tithes as recommended in Deuteronomy 14:25; Deuteronomy 14:23-26 (NIV); they are to buy back the produce and then do according to the word of God.

Others who also came from afar off; need to change their money to local currencies, and the best and most convenient place would be at the Temple; because they would trust that they would have godly people who would never cheat them.

Money Changers: Why was Jesus angry at all?

Jesus must have observed these people and the shroud ways they’ve been doing business, and this made Him angry and led to Him driving them out, and reminding them that His Father’s House should be a House of Prayers, compassion and not a House of Cheats.

Today, we still have lots of Robbers, money changers and deceivers among the elite brethren.

Check out the Businesses that mount their wares at all the Miracle centres, the Crusade Grounds, the “Holy lands”, the Camps, just to name a few.

Many of these Businesses take undue advantage of the innocent people who have been hoodwinked into coming to Buy anointing.

These Thieves and Money changers exploit the people as they jack up prices of their products (not produce). You find handkerchiefs; ‘anointing oil (which is mere olive oil); Church stickers; Church paraphernalia, etc being sold at very exorbitant prices.

Is your Church Ground a Den of Robbers and Money Changers?

Many of their “Prayer Grounds” even have money changers; those who prey on foreigners; take their Money and exchange it for little or no value, artefacts etc.

We have gone back to those times and the days when Jesus became angry and reacted as the human He ‘is’.

Who are these money exchangers in our churches today?

Many Pastors, etc can not muster up the courage to stop this madness, maybe because like those in charge of the Temple of old, they have a hand in the whole Business. They gave Trading licences to these Robbers, a den of thieves and Money Exchangers.

Yes, these traders littering the Crusade Grounds, ‘Holy lands’, Miracles Centres are all ‘approved’ by these churches. They come to Trade and rip off the innocent people who have come to worship God genuinely.

Are you angry at how I put the above? Then muster up the courage to drive out the Sellers; Money Exchangers; Merchants that litters the Prayer Cities and Churches around the Globe.

Are you a money Changer? Be like Jesus Christ, make a change today. Remember that Jesus drove the Overpriced Money Changers and Cheating Businesses out of the Temple.
