When you ponder on the words of your Mouth, it gives you an opportunity to think and redress your steps. The ability to ponder on the words of your Mouth also enables you to slow to speak and quick to think.

Have you pondered on the words of Psalm 19:14?

“14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14, NKJV

Let’s ponder on the words here.

  • Have you taken time to ponder on the words of Psalm 19:14?
  • How have you been able to control the words from your mouth?
  • Have you been wanting to live a life worthy of a Christian?
  • Do you regulate the things you meditate on?
  • Have you been striving to please God Almighty?

Then listen; if the words of your mouth and the meditations of your heart are not acceptable in the sight of God, then you need to reevaluate your life.

Remember, out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh! Luke 6:45. All evil and sin are first of all incubated in the mind before they manifest.

Ponder on His WordsThis year, as we live our lives, let us ensure that the words of our mouth and the meditations of our mind are acceptable in the sight of God.

Serving God becomes easy when we allow the Holy Spirit to Guide and Guard us. Remember that Jesus promised to send the Comforter before He ascended into Heaven. John 14:16.

It is left for us to seek the face of God through the Holy Spirit to help us Ponder on the words that come from our mouths and all that we meditate within our hearts.
